Financing the response to the AIDS epidemic and other pressing global health needs in low- and middle- income countries has emerged as one of the world's greatest development challenges. Despite significant increases in donor funding for health, resources still fall short of estimated need.
The following documents help to track funding from the G8, European Commission and other donor governments who collectively provide the bulk of international assistance for HIV/AIDS and other global heath priorities through bilateral programs and contributions to multilateral organizations, including the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
