Are You Positive?

This half-hour show profiles four young people - two of whom are living with HIV, two of whom are not - who open up their lives to challenge the sterotypes and misconceptions about who HIV affects. Inspired by www.posornot.com, a viral "game" developed by the Foundation with mtvU, the show reinforces the message that the only way to know one's status is to get tested. Promote the Show.

It’s Your (Sex) Life: Your Guide to Safe and Responsible Sex

Rap-It-Up Campaign Materials

Web Site

The Rap-It-Up website (www.rap-it-up.com) visitors can access facts on HIV/AIDS, take a quiz to test their HIV/AIDS knowledge, find resources and local HIV testing facilities, and learn how they can join the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Toll-Free Hotline

At the Rap-It-Up toll-free hotline (1-866-RAP-IT-UP) callers can access interactive HIV/AIDS and related sexual health information or be connected with counselors at the CDC's HIV/STD hotlines or a local Planned Parenthood.

SMS Text Message Service

The Rap-It-Up campaign also offers an innovative program that utilizes cell phone text messaging to access HIV testing site locations by zip code. By text messaging their zip code to the short code “RAPIT” (72748 on the dial pad) cell phone users will receive a text message back with information about the testing site nearest to them. Read the text program terms and conditions.
